Re: Is there an output choice similar to No_Fault?
You can wire a SSR to the NO_FAULT output to control the brake, but as far as I can see in the PLC the brake is released all time if the servo is enabled.
I'm using the NO_FAULT output already, and do not want to parallel an SSR to this output.
The brake release only gets powered (releases) once ...

Is there an output choice similar to No_Fault?
I have an issue with a slow brake, and rather than use the usual 'Axis _ Brake Release'
I would like it to release similar to the NO_FAULT output so it is released 'full session', as my motors are enabled full session.
I am already using the No_Fault output choice, and it appears that i cant use the ...

Re: Clearpath faults because brake release is slow(?)
Think i got it. Centroid has you set all accp axis for 'hardware enable' so watching the clearpath software, the second i powered the system the motors were enabled. brake not of course.
set the jumpers for 'software enable' and it works great. now motors only enable after an initial E-stop reset ...

Re: Clearpath faults because brake release is slow(?)
This action is now confirmed. if i hardwire the brake released, the Z motor works great.

Clearpath faults because brake release is slow(?)
running an Acorn with the C86AACP board and clearpath.
Stuff works except the Z axis.
On starting up I get a normal flickering green light on the Z.
As soon as i try to jog i get a 4 pulse yellow error code which is 'motor encountering too much friction'
I have tried setting motor enable delay from ...

Re: Acorn with ClearPath 800 steps per rev.
they work great with Acorn, follow the instructions here.
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=5531
I have read that, and it tells that there is an issue at 800.
It suggests setting at 1600, then setting the motor resolver to 1600 meaning the motor will only take a step when it receives ...

Acorn with ClearPath 800 steps per rev.
I hear of an issue with the Acorn / CNC12 using the CP 800 PPR motors?
This is exactly what i am building. motors in hand.
Any helpful input?

Input directly controls an output relay <Answered>
Hello, Noob here, and possibly dumping M4 to go to Acorn.
in the CNC-12 programming,
Is it possible to have an input switch directly drive one (or 2) of the output relays directly?
Can one input drive 2 relays at the same time? (if i needed a DPDT, using 2 of the SPDT relays)
Same as if it was a ...
