Re: CNC12 v5.1 Release Candidate #2 is now available.
Is it possible that this issue has crept back in? I am not able to get TT or probing to work as it used to, and it seems to be acting similar the the linked post. Parameter 404 is set, but it makes no difference this time. Auto Z to plate does not stop upon touch. The input for TT does trip in the ...

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12
It is the table. That is your problem as this is wrong. When you look at the "Right Hand Rule" picture above, in order for the tool to move to the right in relation to the machine table/work piece (+ direction), the machine table has to move to the left. You need to fix this otherwise you...

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12
My direction of travel is correct. X+ to the rigjht and y+ away from me as indicated by the illistration above. So when you travel in the X+ direction, does the tool/spindle travel in that direction or the table? I bet in your case it's the table and not the tool, otherwise you would not have the i...

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12
When I use Probe App the direction of travel seems to be reversed. As an example when using single axis I have to select the oppiste side to get it to work. If I select the side next to the probe it will move away from the part until it eventually issues an error. I guarantee you that you have your...

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12
Is it possible to set CSR automatically with the Probe App and a Pro License? In the SW matrix it says it can be done in CNC12 Pro, but in the forum I found posts saying it needs Ultimate? If so, what option do I use? The CNC12 Pro License does let you probe the angle but you have to apply the CSR ...

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12
Quick Probe App Question. I have been using this app for a few months now and love it! I keep finding new way to use it. When setting up, you can use Z home or a master tool as a reference. I can't remember why, but for some reason I could not get the Z-home approach to work (probably user error). ...

Re: During ProbeApp configuration, WMPG jogging wheel quit
Thank you, Swissi. I'll be able to check this out once the WMPG arrives. The jog buttos that I was referring to are on the WMPG, but I assume the same applies to those on the VCP. Since my last post, I added a jumper to the 3D touch probe connector so that when it's plugged in, it grounds ProbeDete...

Re: During ProbeApp configuration, WMPG jogging wheel quit
Domenic Pascucci. He was very helpful and took time to work with me to resolve the issue - which appeared to be that wheel pulses weren't getting through, but the jog buttons worked fine. Does the probe-protect feature affect one or both of these functions? Your problem is a probe configuration pro...

Re: Using a probe as a reference tool
I’m either going to have to change my wiring or fake the system by measuring an unused tool and put that value into the height offset for the TP. Bottom line is that currently I cannot use the TT and TP at the same time. You can check which of the probes (TT or TP) has the weaker spring load by pla...

Re: Using a probe as a reference tool
The benefit of using a dedicated Master Tool has an appeal. Rather than change the TP to the master tool I'll assume I can measure it and use it for setting XYZ. I only use it for XY now. Yes if the TP is not your Reference Tool, you can measure the TP like a tool. However if you are using a TT tha...
