Wabeco F1210E Spindle Control
hello again things are coming along with my cnc conversion and i have decided id like to get spindle control thru the cnc12. i know this isnt a very popular machine but i have seen at least two others on this forum who have this machine running with the acorn. Re: DB25 BOB connection?
The jack screws in the ACORN should unscrew easily. The shielding will be less than ideal when using a breakout board anyway. Just run the drain wire to H9 EGND or an ACORN mounting hole. yes they unscrew easily but now both sides (the acorn board and the db25 male b.o.b) have the threaded tab sold...

Re: Fan for controls box? 220vac
If the device does not have a ground wire, it probably has a ground screw. You connect the two hot wires to the fan leads and ground to the screw. Exactly as Tom stated. The ebmpapst German, 220v fans I use are METAL, not plastic, and they have both a 8-32 and a M4 threaded hole next to each other ...

Re: Fan for controls box? 220vac
I agree, a 220v fan would be ideal. I use them all the time in my cabinets for customers and it'll last longer than those cheap, plastic 12 and 24 volt fans. Make sure to have the fan blow/suck cool air IN to the cabinet and put a grill near the top of the cabinets for the hot air to be pushed OUT....

Fan for controls box? 220vac
im in my final stages of getting everything together for my controls enclosure and would like to add a fan to keep drivers cool etc. my mains input is 220vac 3 wire no neutral so a 110volt fan is out of the picture. would it be a wise idea to get a 24v dc fan and run it off the centroid psu or will ...

Re: DM 860A Driver and PSU Questions
The correct voltage for stepper motors is based on their inductance. See this thread for information: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=6511&p=56629&hilit=Inductance+voltage+equation#p56629 so with this formula i can get the max voltage? but im not sure what voltage to u...

DM 860A Driver and PSU Questions
