Re: New Build: Denford/Sherline MicroLathe
I am following along here. Nice build...I have a Sherline also. Micro machinery! Seth P.S. I like what you have done with the box build so far. Very determined and organized...not only organized but methodical too. I know it was not just thrown together so far. I will be building a build also and th...

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
Also, about that wiring idea. I am dealing with issues on wiring too. Base Wiring Duct is what it is called. It is like a conduit for small boxes so the wires are not always touching each other or around specific, other wires. Seth P.S. The deeper the box, the better is what I have found to be a goo...

Re: Tool touch off and probe help needed
Snipping tool will work... Also and first off, I am a new machinist. I know little but understand how to convey messages almost well some of the time. If the Control P from your keyboard does nothing... 1. Try the snipping tool 2. Open up the "start" menu in Win 10/11 3. Click on the "...

Re: Lathe Work/CNC12 and Post Processing
And A-Okay, The Acorn CNC is up and running along with the limit switches, homing, and the correct XY linear axes in their respective places. Seth P.S. Anyway, thank you guys/gals for making this hardware available. I will post some type of video once the laser is functionary and done. # Update Wron...

Re: Lathe Work/CNC12 and Post Processing
First off, cnckeith...thank you for the videos. I was 100% unaware of currently understanding what available CNC programming entailed. This showed me. I thank you for the second video in the series. That showed me exactly how to set XZ and use offsets for tools with CNC12. And yes sir, my parts can ...

Lathe Work/CNC12 and Post Processing
Hello, I am wondering which software available can handle CNC12 Lathe for post processing... I have this tiny, miniature lathe that I want to use for making small parts. I am new, i.e. as everyone can tell. Seth P.S. If someone uses a lathe and CNC12 Lathe source from Centroid, please jump in. I can...

Re: Video Walkthrough of How I Use the Acorn
Nice.
Does Centroid have post processors for Atom 3D? It is an Alibre product. I bought years ago and I am just getting into it. I started to make parts and I can make step files with it.
Seth
P.S. Learning all the time...I like the video. I learned some. Thank you.

Re: Okay! Making Things Work!
Hello,
That is relative. Just kiddin' here. Anyway, thank you for pointing that out!
Seth
P.S. Dim light and fast moving cameras make for terrible videos obviously. Have no fear, I will retry and redo things.

Re: Okay! Making Things Work!
It really is out of focus a bunch. I have an older camera and it is bogus, obviously. That or my use of it in the dim light makes it worse.
