Re: Z-Axis Motor ER020 code

Err020 means position following error. It could be a bad encoder cable if it's loose(bad connection) or too high acceleration.
If one of the pair of winding wires is reversed, it will cause this error. Switch a+ and a- for a test. basially if one pair is backwards it will run the opposite way ...

Z-Axis Motor ER020 code

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am reaching out for some assistance. I was in the process of setting and tuning my steps/rev when I realized the stalling on the motor is more complex than I initially thought. I have successfully tuned my X-axis and was about to perform the rough and ...

Re: Z-Axis Break

Also, is this Z-axis motor with brake function considered the spindle brake or just the Z-axis brake shown on G6 of this schematic ?

The Z axis drive is just the Z axis drive, nothing to do with the spindle.

There is no need to use any brake wiring/connection on these motors and drives, just ...

The PLCEXP1616 was detected and working when the report was generated.
The Youtube video is set private so we can not view it.
Thanks a bunch. I am now able to see all inputs on the Plcexp1616.

PLCEXP 1616 I/O Does not work <Resolved>

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for assistance again. I have connected my PLCEXP1616 I/O board to my AcornSix via H7, with my Plus Limit OK max travel switches connected to it. The Wizard allowed me to add input definitions and change the N/C or N/O LED light indications on the Wizard/1616 I/O ...

Re: Acorn6 CNC12 router V5.08 not detecting Either1616

That is the Ether1616 board in your photo but the Acorn Six uses the PLCEXP1616. The PLCEXP1616 and the Ether616 are two different animals. You have the wrong expansion board.

Wow! Guess I’ll have to wait till I get some money to get the right board.. I have the habit of buying things and wait ...
