Re: spindle wiring Delta VFD

If you post what vfd your using and or a diagram of it will help.

Your second image of the relay board looks like it is missing a common??
Not sure what you have?

I have a pm940v with a GS10 drive and my relay board wiring is different than what you have there in the image.

Again, post what you ...

Re: Rough Motion on Circular Toolpaths

I'm dealing with same issue/different servo though. I have been trying to correct it but have been unsuccessful so far. Just started all of the sudden.
So I will be following this closely.

What power do the servo drives have? What does the surface look like when you machine a square ...

Re: ENA1

Shawn

I probably could add a gear box, but If this Frankenstein counter weight system Im making(with a drill press)solves the issue. I will design a better one in CAD then machine all the parts. If it doesn't I might purchase a different motor from Teknic.

Here is the pic of it so far. Again this ...

Re: ENA1

Lol,

Yeah, starting to wonder about motor choice too.

This is a precision matthews PM940V not a gear head and no gearbox on Z.

The head was probably 50lbs heavier after the partial fill

Re: ENA1

Hi Shawn,

Yes 4 blinks. The torque ramps right up when jogging upward in Z then once past 90 or so it alarms out of the MSP tune

I bought the machine with motors already on it.
It has always faulted z axis

I did fill the machine with epoxy granite after purchase though. It faults far more than ...

Re: ENA1

Hi,

I have the control rewired and all the Resends errors cured. The only fault still returning is 9031.

I have programmed Acorn to have a no drive fault input(as a test). Z- axis is still shutting down. I try to run the Autotune in MSP and fail(shut down everytime)

The following test I did are ...

Re: ENA1

Thanks everyone

I decided to rewire my cabinate and relocate it from back to front of the machine.

I'm going to make a cleaner wire install and sheild all circuits better. Also shorten the servo cables.

I did the software update tonight.

I will keep you guys posted once I'm done. I know your ...
